Anthony Clifton
Ant runs ACC, a media consultancy drawing on his 30 years of global media experience. Following a successful and enjoyable career working for the great and the good, he now loves working with smaller, highly entrepreneurial organisations with bold growth targets.
Throughout his career, he’s worked with a number of charities including Lynx (remember the famous ‘Dumb Animals’ ad?), Cancer Research and NSPCC. Much of his experience in this sector was gained as Rapp’s first Media Planning Director, where he brought brand disciplines and insight into a purist DM agency and changed direct response to ‘performance’ media planning. Crucially, he established an appreciation that a balance between brand and acquisition communications can bring better ROI in the longer term.
As media becomes increasingly complicated, Ant’s experience with digital combined with rather too much grey hair helps clients demystify the new communication channel opportunities and create valuable test and learn strategies.
