Tim Shaw

Tim’s varied career started over 30 years’ ago when he qualified as an accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward. He is currently managing director at Clark Howes, a firm of chartered accountants and business growth advisers. Their areas of expertise of interest to not-for-profits include financial planning and business management, governance, risk management, database management, grant applications and tax advice.

Tim was formerly head of Rays of Sunshine, a national children’s charity, where he remains a trustee, giving him a special insight into the accounting and business needs of charities and other not-for-profit organisations. He was also a Founder Trustee of Watford FC’s Community, Sports & Education Trust, and a Trustee and vice chairman of The Watford Palace Theatre.
