Luton DART

One of Luton Rising’s most important projects is the Luton DART (Direct Air-Rail Transit), which creates a direct connection between Luton Airport Parkway rail station and the terminal at London Luton Airport. This replaces the slower and intermittent bus service. The introduction of the Luton DART will mean that you will be able to get from St Pancras station to the airport terminal in just 32 minutes on the fastest trains.

This is a game-changer for passengers, and is the key to seducing them away from their cars when travelling to and from the airport. This will reduce carbon emissions, volume of traffic and loss of air quality, all vital environmental considerations and very important to this social impact business.

We were tasked with creating the new brand identity for the Luton DART. We set out to create a marque that is simultaneously both futuristic and evocative of the golden age of travel, melding these apparent contradictions into a design that is both stylish and distinctive.
