HOPE’s Summer Supper:
with Malcolm Green
WHO THE **** AM I AND WHY THE **** AM I HERE?
On Wednesday 1 July, from 6.30pm, we’re holding our next Hope Supper – an evening with one of advertising’s most restlessly creative minds, and we’d love you to join us.
Our guest speaker is Malcolm Green: writer, director, lyricist, and the man behind some of the most memorable campaigns of the last three decades. From Howard of Halifax to Walkers Crisps with Gary Lineker, from award-winning documentaries to a Cannes Grand Prix for Maersk, Malcolm has spent his career asking one deceptively simple question: who are you, and why does it matter?
That question is the thread running through his talk for us. Malcolm will explore what identity and purpose really mean – for brands, individuals, movements and ideas – drawing on his own journey through the industry, from messenger boy to Executive Creative Director, from getting fired to co-founding one of Europe’s ten largest agencies. He’ll unpack how even the potentially dullest of briefs can be turned into something really fresh and exciting.
We’ll add in some delicious food and wine, on board the adjacent barge, The Boathouse.
Places are strictly limited, so it’s first come, first served.
RSVP using the form on the right.
