Last year, Project 84 revealed a disturbing statistic – every two hours a man in the UK takes his own life.
The project, by the not-for-profit CALM, put 84 humanoid sculptures* on top of a skyscraper and other buildings in London—the same number of men who take their own lives every week.
Suicide is the greatest cause of death amongst young men (15-44) in the UK as well as many young women too.
Every single suicide directly affects 135 people – people like me, people like you…
*The sculptures were designed by US street artist Mark Jenkins.
